Accept/Expect

We are compelled by the Gospel to accept all people and to expect that we will never stop growing in the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. – Galatians 5:22-23

We enjoy the ethnic diversity found in heaven. …And [You] have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God. – Revelation 5:9-10

We believe the Bible teaches the equality of men and women in creation, redemption and in spiritual gifts.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:28

We also believe we are called to treat one another with respect and care, regardless of race, gender or belief, as we grow toward unity of faith.

Speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ. – Ephesians 4:15
